Lisa López Williamson, a bilingual and dedicated educator from the US/Mexico borderlands has over twenty years of experience working with children and communities. A degreed school librarian for the past fifteen years both in TX and NM, she is committed to strengthening local communities. She has been recognized for her work numerous times in El Paso and by the American Library Association. She is passionate about storytelling, teaching, and bridging the information and technology divide that exists primarily in marginalized groups and has been a leader in bringing the Little Free Library to communities in need. She recently moved to the high desert of NM with her family and has a strong commitment to making Santa Fe a permanent home for her family and her daughter's education.
