Nate Crail is a community planner who cultivates community at the intersection of built environments and social identities. Originally from the Chicago area, they grew up in a Filipino-American and pastoral household that instilled the importance of social justice.  Through their training as a cultural anthropologist, they apply research to public service.  Through experiences in Peace Corps and AmeriCorps, they learned how to address community issues across disparate geographies. In their three years living in Santa Fe, they have grown to love its histories, arts, and vistas, but also recognize the need to make Santa Fe a more inclusive and affordable place. Beyond their professional and advocacy work, they care for their plethora of houseplants, run road and trail marathons, and peruse local galleries and cinemas.
